Zephaniah 3:17
The LORD your God is with you{in your midst}, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet{renew, refresh, bring into rest) you with his love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
Do not be afraid
I AM with you in the midst of your circumstances
I AM mighty to save.
Even in circumstances which surround like lions
Ravenous beasts with sharp tearing teeth
Darkness ready to devour and swallow its prey
Do not be afraid.
Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. –Isa 43:1
I take great delight in you
Come enter My rest
Be still and trust beneath My wings
I rejoice over you with singing
Be refreshed and renewed covered by My love
My mercy and truth sent forth to deliver.
Look at every ‘lion’ and know that I can deliver you.
Be still and know that I AM God;
… I will be exalted among the nations,
… I will be exalted in the earth! –Ps 46:10
Be strong, do not fear! Behold!
I your God will come with vengeance,
With a recompense
I will come and save you. –Isa 35:3-4
I AM mighty to save.
Psalm 57:1-5
Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me!
… For my soul trusts in You;
… And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge,
… Until these calamities have passed by.
I will cry out to God Most High,
… To God who performs all things for me.
He shall send from heaven and save me;
… He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. Selah
… God shall send forth His mercy and His truth.
My soul is among lions;
… I lie among the sons of men
… Who are set on fire,
… Whose teeth are spears and arrows,
… And their tongue a sharp sword.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
… Let Your glory be above all{over} the earth.

Say to those who are fearful hearted
Do not be afraid
The Lord your God will come
And with His mighty arm
When you call on His Name
He will come and save you
Chorus:
He will come and save you
He will come and save you
Say to the weary one
Your God will surely come
He will come and save you
He will come and save you
Lift up your eyes to Him
You will arise again
He will come and save you
Say those who are broken hearted
Do not lose your faith
The Lord your God will come
And with His loving hand
When you call on His Name
He will surely come
(Chorus)
Bridge:
He is our refuge in the day of trouble
He is our shelter in the time of storm
He is our tower in the day of sorrow
Our fortress in the time of war
(Back To Chorus)

I was blessed by the image of having such a trust in the Lord as his refuge — that even in the face of ravenous lions — David could ‘lie down’ among them and be at rest beneath his Savior’s wings.
Oh to trust like that!
HE IS MIGHTY TO SAVE!
