Streams of Mercy

By khollandsblog

“Come, Thou Fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise

Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount, I’m fixed upon it
Mount of Thy unchanging love”

Lyrics by Robert Robinson

streams

Streams of mercy never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise.

It is good to give thanks to the LORD and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
–Ps 92:1

Sing, sing praises to the Lord, enthroned in Zion –Ps 9:11
Sing praises to the Lord, let the streams of God spring forth!

Spring up, O well! All of you sing to it-   –Num 21:17

Rejoice{Triumph} in the LORD,  joy in the God of your salvation.  –Hab 3:18
Draw near.

How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You to dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple. –Ps 65:4

You have crowned the year with Your bounty, and Your paths drip with fatness. –Ps 65:11

Captives set free, yokes destroyed because of the fatness. -Isa 10:27
Be anointed with fresh oil — TODAY!

The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with corn, for so You have ordained it. –Ps 65:9

Corn, fresh manna from heaven rains down as these streams flow.

He rained down manna upon them to eat and gave them corn{bread} from heaven.
–Ps 78:24

Corn to sustain, new wine that gladdens, and oil to make the face shine
… to be gathered as these streams flow.

. . . I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. –Deut 11:14

He waters the mountains from His upper chambers; The earth is satisfied with the fruit of His works. He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate bringing forth food from the earth: wine that gladdens the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread that sustains his heart. –Ps 104:13-15

Sing, sing praises to the Lord, enthroned in Zion –Ps 9:11
Sing praises to the Lord, let the streams of God spring forth!
Gather in the corn, new wine and oil.

Be satisfied with the goodness of the Lord’s house
Dwell, flourish in the courts of our God
Declare that the LORD is upright.

The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! –Ps 18:46

See yokes destroyed and captives set free!

Psalm 65:9-13    You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with corn, for so you have ordained it. You water its furrows abundantly, You settle its ridges, You soften it with showers, You bless its growth. You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with fatness. They drop on the pastures of the wilderness, and the little hills gird themselves with rejoicing. The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered with corn; They shout for joy, they also sing.

Psalm 92:10, 12-15    But You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.

The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the LORD, They will flourish in the courts of our God.  They will still yield fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and very green, To declare that the LORD is upright;
… He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
