Stretch Out Your Hands

By khollandsblog

Psalm 134    BEHOLD, BLESS (affectionately and gratefully praise) the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, [singers] who by night stand in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands in holiness and to the sanctuary and bless the Lord [affectionately and gratefully praise Him]! The Lord bless you out of Zion, even He Who made heaven and earth.

Job 11:13-19    Yet if you devote your heart to Him and stretch out your hands to Him, if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent, then you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and without fear. You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by. Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning. You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety. You will lie down, with no one to make you afraid, and many will court your favor.

1 Chronicles 16:29-34   Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name. Bring an offering and come before Him; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness and in holy array. Tremble and reverently fear before Him, all the earth’s peoples; The world also shall be established, so it cannot be moved. Let the heavens be glad and let the earth rejoice; and let men say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!” Let the sea roar, and all the things that fill it; let the fields rejoice, and all that is in them. Then shall the trees of the wood sing out for joy before the Lord, for He comes to judge and govern the earth. O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!

Isaiah 55:11-12   So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. For you shall go out [from the spiritual exile caused by sin and evil into the homeland] with joy and be led forth [by your Leader, the Lord Himself, and His word] with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Small Straws In A Soft Wind by Marsha Burns — May 16, 2008:
Beloved, wait for Me to unfold My plans and provision. Do nothing by the force of your own logic and will. I alone will guide you and bring you through the obstructions that the enemy has devised against you. Do not despair and refuse to be discouraged. I will send forth a decree of victory on your behalf, but you must stand strong in faith, says the Lord. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

Psalm 62:1- 2 Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.
