Heart Cry

Psalm 42:1   As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.

What is the cry of your heart? How earnestly are you seeking the Lord? Does your soul thirst for Him as the deer pants for the living water in a dry and weary land?

I have loved you with an everlasting love;
… I have drawn you with loving-kindness. –Jer 31:3

Taste His love, a love better, more delightful than wine. Be drawn by His love better than life.

May he kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! For your love is better than wine. Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes; your name is like perfume poured out. Therefore the virgins love you. Draw me away! Let us run together! Let the king bring me into his chambers. We rejoice and delight in you; we will praise your love more than wine. How right they are to adore you! –Song 1:2-4

Taste and see, you will be swept away, caught up in His love, you will sing His praise. Your heart cry “Make haste, my beloved, come quickly to me”.

Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who trust in Him! -Ps 34:8

My Beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag.
Behold, He is standing behind our wall,
He is looking through the windows,
He is peering through the lattice. –Song 2:9

Make haste, my beloved!
Be like a gazelle or a young stag on the mountains of spices. –song 8:14

He who testifies to these things says,
“Yes, I am coming quickly “

Amen Come, Lord Jesus. –Rev 22:20

Psalm 63:1-8
1 O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you,

… my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.
3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.
5 My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods;
… with singing lips my mouth will praise you.
6 On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night.
7 Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings.
8 My soul clings to {follows hard after} you; your right hand upholds me.

Karen there is something that lingers loudly …

“Behold, He is standing behind our wall,
He is looking through the windows,
He is peering through the lattice.” –Song 2:9
    and……

“Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord draws nigh.”

Behind those dry places (walls) He has so much more to pour out …

“Choose” Him in those places ……….

and yet surrender with abandonment and choose to fall on the rock, Jesus!
“if you seek Him with all your heart” even in the perils of the unseen desolate times … He will establish you, abandon your strong holds that oppose Him and He will rescue you!
Choose to invite Him into your inner chambers … and He will set your feet upon Him the rock. Choose Him and establish your heart… not turning to the right or the left surrender with Thanksgiving “for He is good and His love endures forever.”
Cry out oh my soul let my heart not faint for my beloved draws near!
