War Horse

Job 39:19-25 Do you give the horse his strength or clothe his neck with thunder (power)? Do you make him leap like the locust? His majestic snorting is terrible. He paws in the valley, and rejoices in his strength; He goes out to meet the weapons. He laughs at fear and is not dismayed; And he does not turn back from the sword. The quiver rattles against him, the flashing spear and javelin. With shaking and rage he races over the ground, and he does not stand still at the voice of the trumpet. As often as the trumpet sounds he says, ‘Aha!’ And he scents the battle from afar, and the thunder of the captains and the war cry.

A magnificent spirited war-horse
The perfect picture of strength, power, boldness and courage.
But no matter how great this horse appears,
It is the LORD who gives victory, the battle belongs to Him.

‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
says the LORD of hosts. -Zec 4:6

Psalm 33:16-17 No king is saved by the size of his mighty army; no warrior is delivered by his great strength. A horse disappoints those who trust in it for victory; despite its great strength, it cannot deliver.

Proverbs 21:31   The horse is made ready{prepared, established} for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD.

Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
