ALL Things With Christ

Fresh Oil

Psalm 1:3 AMP … And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].

Ezekiel 47:12 AMP … And on the banks of the river on both its sides, there shall grow all kinds of trees for food; their leaf shall not fade nor shall their fruit fail [to meet the demand]. Each tree shall bring forth new fruit every month, [these supernatural qualities being] because their waters came from out of the sanctuary. And their fruit shall be for food and their leaves for healing.

Breathe on Me!

Job 33:4 NKJV … The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

WOW! The Lord put the above scripture and song on my heart this morning(7-12-12) as I was praying for healing for several people. I then decided to look up this verse in the NetBible.

From  Job 33:4

    • gives life [02421]revives, quickens, restores, refreshes
      • from sickness, discouragement, faintness, death

It’s the same word for yesterday’s post Grace and Glory!

Grace and Glory

Psalm 119:49-50 AMP … Remember [fervently] the word and promise to Your servant, in which You have caused me to hope. This is my comfort and consolation in my affliction: that Your word has revived me and given me life.

Psalm 84:11-12 AMP … For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! O Lord of hosts, blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts in You [leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving]!

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. -Heb 4:16

Thirsty – Lift Up Your Hands!

I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah -Ps 143:6 NKJV

… I thirst for You as parched land thirsts for rain -Ps 143:6 NLT …

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You, O God. My soul thirsts for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God{to drink in His presence}? -Ps 42:1-2

O God, You are my God, earnestly I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; my whole body longs for You in this parched and weary land where there is no water. I have seen You in the sanctuary and beheld Your power and Your glory. Because experiencing Your loyal love is better than life itself, my lips will praise You. For this reason I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.-Ps 63:1-4

The lifting up of your hands to the Lord;

  • An indication of of wholehearted thirst after the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • A reflection of the lifting up of your heart and soul to be touched and filled. Jesus Christ alone, the fountain of living water, satisfies.

    Let each morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul. -Ps 143:8

The Lord is Good

The Lord is good!

His faithful love endures forever. -Ps 136:1 NLT

A strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in Him. -Nah 1:7 NLT

Ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon Him. -Ps 86:5

O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him! -Ps 34:8

Give thanks!

Praise the LORD … Sing praises to His name, for it is pleasant. -Ps 135:3

Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God, for He is gracious and lovely; praise is becoming and appropriate. -Ps 147:1 AMP

Broken things can become blessed things if you let God do the mending.
