Ascribe to the Lord

Ascribe to the Lord!
Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due to His name
Ascribe greatness to our God
Bring an offering and come into His presence
Worship the Lord in the beauties of holiness and in holy array.

Give thanks to the LORD, for His love endures forever!

He is the King of Glory, strong and mighty in battle
The Lord of Hosts, He is the King of Glory.

Lift up your heads, O you gates of praise
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!

He is here
The King of Glory
His face revealed
The King of Victory!
Jesus Christ is LORD
He reigns above all!
King forever!

Psalm 29:1-2Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Deuteronomy 32:2-3My teaching will fall on you like rain; my speech will settle like dew. My words will fall like rain on tender grass, like gentle showers on young plants. For I proclaim the name of the LORD; Ascribe greatness to our God!

1 Chronicles 16:25-29For great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; He also is to be [reverently] feared above all gods. For all the gods of the people are [lifeless] idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Glory and honor  are [found] in His presence; strength and joy are [found] in His sanctuary{dwelling-place}. Ascribe to the Lord, you families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name. Bring an offering and come before Him; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness and in holy array.

2 Chronicles 20:21-22After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed those who sang to the LORD and those who praised Him in holy attire{the beauty of holiness}, as they went out before the army and said, “Give thanks to the LORD, for His love endures forever.” As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

Psalm 24:7-10Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah

Psalm 29:10-11The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD is enthroned as King forever. The LORD gives strength to His people; the LORD blesses His people with peace.

Magnify the Lord with me – גדלו ליהוה gaddelu lavhovah, “make greatness to Jehovah;” show his greatness; and let “us exalt his name,” let us show how high and glorious it is.

Love this very much! A few of these verses completely confirmed to me concerning a blog the Lord gave me that I started working on this morning! I just love the Lord so much & appreciate so much the gifts He has put in you. You are always such a blessing to me & always filling my heart with praise thru our Fathers Word.

The Lord is good! The song above really blessed me. It was as if the Lord’s answer to the command ascribe to the Lord was look up – lift up your heads and see the King of Glory – as you praise.

      🙂
