He Never Sleeps

January 27, 2013

Acts 16:31 AMP … And they answered, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ [give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping and entrust yourself into His keeping] and you will be saved, [and this applies both to] you and your household as well.

Surrender ALL to the Lord Jesus Christ
Entrust yourself and your plans into His keeping
He is ABLE!

2 Timothy 1:12 AMP … And this is why I am suffering as I do. Still I am not ashamed, for I know (perceive, have knowledge of, and am acquainted with) Him Whom I have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on), and I am [positively] persuaded that He is able to guard and keep that which has been entrusted to me and which I have committed [to Him] until that day.

The Lord is your keeper
He is ABLE to keep and guard ALL committed/entrusted to Him
He who watches over you-
He never sleeps!

Psalm 121 (The Message)
1-2 I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains?
No, my strength comes from God,
… who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.

3-4 He won’t let you stumble,
… your Guardian God won’t fall asleep.
Not on your life! Israel’s
Guardian will never doze or sleep.

5-6 God’s your Guardian,
… right at your side to protect you—
Shielding you from sunstroke,
sheltering you from moonstroke.

7-8 God guards you from every evil,
… he guards your very life.
He guards you when you leave and when you return,
He guards you now, He guards you always.

Psalm 91:1,4 AMP … He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. … [Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.

Healing in the Song of the Lamb

January 23, 2013

Revelation 14:1-5 Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

Healing in the Song of the Lamb

There is healing in the Song of the Lamb
Healing in the Song of the Lamb

From the throne by His hand it flows
From the throne where He stands it flows
Healing in the Song of the Lamb.

Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow!
From the throne healing flows

Follow the Lamb wherever He goes
Living water flows wherever He goes
From the throne it flows
Healing flows!

Dip your heart in the stream of life! Ez47:1-12;Rev22:1-5
There is healing in the Song of the Lamb
Let it flow!

Revelation 5:6     And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.

Revelation 22:1-2     Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

Revelation 7:17     For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; He will lead them to springs of living water.

Be Filled with HOPE

January 19, 2013

I AM the Lord who does not change! -Mal3:16;Ja1:17
My plan for your future is filled with HOPE!

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good[peace] and not for disaster[evil], to give you a future and a hope. -Jer29:11

My plans stand firm forever
And the intentions of My heart are steadfast.

But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever; His intentions[the purposes of His heart] can never be shaken[stand from generation to generation]. -Ps33:11

I AM the Lord your Rock who can not be shaken!
My promises are reliable
And stand firm forever!
-Is26:4;Ps119:89;He12:28

I AM the God of ALL Hope

Be Humble Before The Lord

January 9, 2013

Be humble before the Lord
By casting ALL your cares
ALL your anxieties
ALL your worries
ALL your concerns
Once and for all – on Him.
{Don’t take them back!}

Then at just the right time He will lift you up.

Humbled under the Lord’s mighty hand
Depend solely on Him for help
Wait patiently for Him
He gives grace to the humble
He cares affectionately and watchfully for you
The apple of His eye.
{His most prized possession} -Pro7:2

1 Peter 5:5-7 AMP … … Clothe (apron) yourselves, all of you, with humility [as the garb of a servant, so that its covering cannot possibly be stripped from you, with freedom from pride and arrogance] toward one another. For God sets Himself against the proud (the insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful)—[and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them], but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble.

Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you, casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.

Word StudyFrom NetBible 1Pe5:5-7

  • **“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that in due time he may exalt you.” The sentence was rearranged so that the English reader could more clearly see the connection between “casting” (v. 7) and “humble” (v. 6).*Casting. According to ExSyn 630, “Although treated as an independent command in several modern translations (e.g., RSV, NRSV, NIV), the participle [casting] should be connected with the verb of v 6, ταπεινώθητε [tapeinwqhte, Humble yourselves]. As such, it is not offering a new command, but is defining how believers are to humble themselves. Taking the participle as means enriches the understanding of both verbs: Humbling oneself is not a negative act of self-denial per se, but a positive one of active dependence on God for help.”

When I Speak Your Name

January 6, 2013

Jesus the only name that brings healing and strength
Jesus, the most beautiful name that I know …

When I speak Your name
There is healing
There is strength
Jesus Your name is an ointment poured forth …

Because of the fragrance[pleasing savour] of your good ointments, Your name is ointment[purified oi] poured forth; Therefore the virgins love you. -Song 1:3

Draw me away!
Let us run together!
We will rejoice and be glad in You
We will extol your love more than wine
We adore You!
-Song 1:4
King of king; Lord of lords
Jesus Christ our Lord!
