Blind Leading Blind?

Luke 6:37-40 NASB … “Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”

39 And He[Jesus] also spoke a parable to them: “A blind man cannot guide a blind man, can he? Will they not both fall into a pit? 40 A pupil is not above his teacher; but everyone, after he has been fully trained, will be like his teacher.”

Isn’t this a warning to be careful who you listen to or follow?
There is a great danger in listening to false teachers or people who have no spiritual discernment => sight.

If unsound instruction is listened to or undetected{unjudged}, how can we expect the listener to become anything but unsound in faith?

The blind one who NEVER judges or who judges with something other than God’s word, has no discernment and so can not lead.

John 7:24 AMPC … Be honest in your judgment and do not decide at a glance (superficially and by appearances); but judge fairly and righteously.

Hebrews 5:11-14 NASB … Concerning him we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the WORD of righteousness, for he is an infant. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern{judge} good and evil.

Titus 1:9-10 AMPC … He must hold fast to the sure and trustworthy WORD of God as he was taught it, so that he may be able both to give stimulating instruction and encouragement in sound (wholesome) doctrine{teaching, instruction} and to refute and convict those who contradict and oppose it [showing the wayward their error].
10 For there are many disorderly and unruly men who are idle (vain, empty) and misleading talkers and self-deceivers and deceivers of others. [This is true] especially of those of the circumcision party [who have come over from Judaism].
