The Desert Will Blossom

April 21, 2018

Sing O barren, sing Isa 54:1
Sing to the well Num 21:17
The Rock of your salvation
Ps 95:1
The desert will rejoice and blossom as the rose –Isa 35:1
With joy draw living water from the well
Jesus my strength
My song!

Isaiah 12:2-3,5 AMPC
2 Behold, God, my salvation! I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord God is my strength and song; yes, He has become my salvation. 3 Therefore with joy will you draw water from the wells of salvation. …
… 5 Sing praises to the Lord, for He has done excellent things [gloriously]; let this be made known to all the earth.

Isaiah 61:10-11 MSG
10-11 I will sing for joy in God,
explode in praise from deep in my soul!
He dressed me up in a suit of salvation,
He outfitted me in a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom who puts on a tuxedo
and a bride a jeweled tiara.
For as the earth bursts with spring wildflowers,
and as a garden cascades with blossoms,
So the Master, God, brings righteousness into full bloom
and puts praise on display before the nations.
