Light in the Fog

August 4, 2018

Psalm 107:25-31 …    He spoke and raised up a stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea. They rose up to the heavens, they went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away. They reeled and staggered like drunken men; they were at their wits’ end. They cried out to the Lord in their distress; He delivered them from their troubles. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. What a blessing was that stillness as He brought them safely into harbor! Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men!
Even in the darkness
Midst the fog of a storm

What a blessing is that stillness as He leads
Into His safe harbor!

Psalm 9:9-10 Amplified Bible (AMP)
9 The Lord also will be a refuge and a stronghold for the oppressed,
A refuge in times of trouble;
10 And those who know Your name [who have experienced Your precious mercy] will put their confident trust in You,
For You, O Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You.
