Ephesians 6:10-11 Amplified Bible (AMP)
The Armor of God
10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. 11 Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

Deuteronomy 31:6,8 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
6 Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you. …
… 8 It is the Lord Who goes before you; He will [march] with you; He will not fail you or let you go or forsake you; [let there be no cowardice or flinching, but] fear not, neither become broken [in spirit—depressed, dismayed, and unnerved with alarm].

[draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him]
=>total surrender, utter dependence on Jesus IS your greatest strength!
=>Christ’s grace shines brightest in human weakness!

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
9 But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!
10 So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful in divine strength).

    From NetBible 2Cor 12:9
rest[1981] = to fix a tent or habitation on
    – to take possession of and live in the houses
    – of the citizens
    – of the power of Christ descending upon one, working within him and giving him help
From [4637] = to fix one’s tabernacle, have one’s tabernacle, abide (or live) in
    – to dwell: to tent or encamp, i.e. (figuratively) to occupy (as a
mansion) or (specially), to reside (as God did in the Tabernacle of
old, a symbol of protection and communion)
=>The strength and power of Christ pitches a tent over and dwells upon the one who is utterly dependent upon Him!

Acts 2:25-26 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
25 For David says in regard to Him, I saw the Lord constantly before me, for He is at my right hand that I may not be shaken or overthrown or cast down [from my secure and happy state].
26 Therefore my heart rejoiced and my tongue exulted exceedingly; moreover, my flesh also will dwell in hope [will encamp, pitch its tent, and dwell in hope in anticipation of the resurrection].
