Spring Up – Spring Up O Well!

This is cool! Look at the invitation below – it’s to ALL who are thirsty – both believers and non-believers. I never noticed the invitation to believers before, it’s to keep coming to “drink”. It makes sense tho — if the “rivers of living water” are to keep flowing from those who believe=> they have to keep drinking! Also look how “bearing fruit(Revelation 22)” is related to this need to keep drinking!

Thirsty? Come with joy to drink the water of life.
=> Be refreshed, strengthened and equipped with His joy to send out the invitation to ALL those who are thirsty!

John 7:37-39 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
37 Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, *let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
*Or let him keep coming to Me and let him keep drinking

Revelation 22:1-2,17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
1 Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, 2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. …
… 17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.

Psalm 30:11 Amplified Bible (AMP)

1 Chronicles 16:10-11,27 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually [longing to be in His presence].
… Splendor and majesty are [found] in His presence; Strength and joy are [found] in His place (sanctuary).

    5 God is in the midst of her [His city], she will not be moved;
God will help her when the morning dawns.

=> Sing to awaken the dawn!

Psalm 57:7-8 AMP … My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast and confident! I will sing, yes, I will sing praises [to You]!

    wordplay water from the well:

“Well-watered” as in “watered from the well”
Isaiah 58:11: The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Jeremiah 31:12: They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion; they will rejoice in the bounty of the Lord—the grain, the new wine and the olive oil, the young of the flocks and herds. They will be like a well-watered garden, and they will sorrow no more.

Joy in the morning! Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.
    Psalm 30:5; 143:8
