Build By The Lord’s Hand

July 6, 2020

Psalm 127:1 … Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.

Apart from Him you can do nothing John 15:5
Unless the Lord builds the house
The builders build in vain=worthlessness. Psalm 127:1

But speaking/practicing the truth in love, we in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole body, fitted and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. –Ephesians 4:15-16
All parts of the Lord’s body are equally important
And necessary-essential 1Corinthians 12:21-22
Therefore by the Lord’s hand pursue love
And eagerly desire spiritual gifts
That the body may grow and build itself up. 1Corinthians 14:1,26
Let him not trust in what is worthless{his own strength}, deceiving himself; for worthlessness will be his reward. –Job 15:31
So do not throw away your confident trust in the Lord, no matter what happens. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that He has promised. –Hebrews 10:35-36

Protection from Deception=Preach His Word

June 24, 2020

2Corinthians 11:2-4 NLT … For I am jealous for you with the jealousy of God himself. I promised you as a pure bride to one husband—Christ. 3 But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent. 4 You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed.

Preach His word in and out of season! 2Timothy 4:2
Acts 20:25-31Now I[Paul] know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will ever see me again. 26 Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of any of you. 27 For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will(counsel) of God. 28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.
Matthew 22:29 Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know(understand) the Scriptures or the power of God”.
