Yokes broken and captives set free
Where the Lamb stands and the Lion roars
Midst songs of victory
Be set free!

Psalm 118:15-17 NLT … Songs of joy and victory/deliverance are sung in the camp of the godly. The strong right arm of the Lord has done glorious things!
16 The strong right arm of the Lord is raised in triumph.
The strong right arm of the Lord has done glorious things!
17 I will not die; instead, I will live
to tell what the Lord has done.

Exodus 15:2The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him{prepare Him a habitation}; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

Isaiah 60:13The glory of Lebanon will come to you, the juniper, the box tree and the cypress together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; And I will make the place of My feet glorious.

John 6:53-58 NASB … So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. 54 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. 55 For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever.
Matthew 4:4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”

Serpents and Doves

June 14, 2018

Matthew 10:16 AMPC … Behold, I am sending you out like sheep in the midst of wolves; be wary and wise as serpents, and be innocent (harmless, guileless, and without falsity) as doves.

Be on guard, sober and alert –1Pe 5:8
Do not be deceived –Gal 6:7-8
Do not be led astray –2Cor 11:3
The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God –1Cor 6:9-11
Be wise as serpents
=> mature in your thinking/understanding –
1Cor 14:20
Declare the whole counsel of God –Acts 20:27-29
Preach His word in and out of season –2Tim4:2
Be gentle as doves –2Tim2:25
That opponents may come to repentance that leads to the Truth
And escape the snare of the devil. –

2 Corinthians 11:2-4 NLT … For I am jealous for you with the jealousy of God himself. I promised you as a pure bride to one husband—Christ. 3 But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent. 4 You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed.

In the Shadow We See

June 11, 2018

Psalm 91:4 NLT
4 He will shield you with His wings. He will shelter you with His feathers. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
In the shadow, in the shadow
The hidden revealed
The concealed brought to light –Mk 4:22
The “WAY” made clear. –Jn 14:6
In the shadow, in the shadow
Of His wings rest secure
Here only in His light
Do we taste and SEE! –Ps 36:9, 34:8
He who has ears, let him hear. –Mk 4:23
1 Corinthians 2:9-12 NLT
9 That is what the Scriptures mean when they say,
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared
for those who love Him.”
10 But it was to us that God revealed these things by His Spirit. For His Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. 11 No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. 12 And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.

Forever Faithful Rock

=> He always does just what He says – there is no question!

He alone is my Rock!Ps 62:6
The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock!
Exalted be God my Saviour!
Ps 18:46

Hebrews 10:19-23 TLB … And so, dear brothers(and sisters), now we may walk right into the very Holy of Holies, where God is, because of the blood of Jesus. 20 This is the fresh, new, life-giving way that Christ has opened up for us by tearing the curtain—His human body—to let us into the holy presence of God.
21 And since this great High Priest of ours rules over God’s household, 22 let us go right in to God himself, with true hearts fully trusting Him to receive us because we have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean and because our bodies have been washed with pure water.

23 Now we can look forward to the salvation God has promised us. There is no longer any room for doubt, and we can tell others that salvation is ours, for there is no question that He will do what He says.

Noble Heart?

June 4, 2018

Luke 8:15 AMP … But as for that seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word with a good and noble heart, and hold on to it tightly, and bear fruit with patience.
Who has a noble heart?
Acts 17:11 AMP … Now these people were more noble and open-minded than those in Thessalonica, so they received the message [of salvation through faith in the Christ] with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.
Luke 8:18 AMP … So be careful how you listen; for whoever has [a teachable heart], to him more [understanding] will be given; and whoever does not have [a longing for truth], even what he thinks he has will be taken away from him.”
Mark 4:23-25 AMP … If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My words.” 24 Then He said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear. By your own standard of measurement [that is, to the extent that you study spiritual truth and apply godly wisdom] it will be measured to you [and you will be given even greater ability to respond]—and more will be given to you besides. 25 For whoever has [a teachable heart], to him more [understanding] will be given; and whoever does not have [a yearning for truth], even what he has will be taken away from him.”

Mark 4:25 The person “who has” is one who is receptive to God’s word, while the one “who does not have” is the person who is blind to and has rejected the spiritual truth and godly wisdom already given to him. As a result, even what little he had previously understood about Jesus will no longer be clear to him.

Don’t Lose Hope

May 17, 2018

Jeremiah 31:16-17 AMP … Thus says the Lord,
“Restrain your voice from weeping
And your eyes from tears,
For your work will be rewarded,” says the Lord;
“And your children will return from the enemy’s land.
17 “There is [confident] hope for your future,” says the Lord;
“Your children will come back to their own country.

Weeping or grieved over lost/deceived children?
Don’t give up
Don’t lose hope
Your work will be rewarded
Lost children will escape the enemy’s snare
2Tim 2:26
Stand firm
Your work in the Lord is not in vain!1Cor 15:58

1 Corinthians 15:58Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm{be steadfast, immovable}. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not in vain{it is never without purpose}.
2 Timothy 2:24-26The servant of the Lord must not participate in quarrels, but must be kind to everyone [even-tempered, preserving peace, and he must be], skilled in teaching, patient and tolerant when wronged. 25 He must correct those who are in opposition with courtesy and gentleness in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and be led to the knowledge of the truth [accurately understanding and welcoming it], 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.

Place of Safety

May 7, 2018

Psalm 17:8 NLT … Guard me as the apple of your eye. Hide me in the shadow of your wings.
In times of trouble
Who your place of safety is
Run to Him
Be hidden and kept safe beneath His wings …

Sometimes you just need to declare this about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him.

Psalm 91:1-4 NLT
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord Jesus:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
He is my God, and I trust Him.
3 For He will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with His feathers.
He will shelter you with His wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

Sometimes you just need to declare this about the Lord: He alone is my refuge-my place of safety-He is my God & I trust Him. #Refuge –Ps 91:1-4
