Job 1:20-22 Amplified Bible (AMP)
20 Then Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head [in mourning for the children], and he fell to the ground and worshipped God. 21 He said,

  • “Naked (without possessions) I came [into this world] from my mother’s womb, And naked I will return there. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

22 Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.

The Everlasting God does not faint or grow weary
He reigns forever!Isaiah 40:28
Blessed be the name of the Lord
From the rising of the sun to its going downPsalm 113:3
Blessed be His glorious name
Both now and forevermore! –Psalm 113:2

Lyrics:
Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name

Blessed Be Your name
When I’m found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name

Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our Strong Deliverer

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord

Every blessing You pour out I’ll
Turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say

You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won’t grow weary

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name

You won’t grow weary

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name

You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles

Blessed be Your glorious name!

Day After Day

March 4, 2011

Matthew 6:24-25, 28 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. THEREFORE I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? … Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;

Who have you chosen to follow?
Day after day choose to follow Jesus
Consider the lilies and rest in His arms.

Day after day
His mercies new, great is His faithfulness! -Lam 3:23

The LORD is wonderfully good
… to those whose hope is in Him
… to those who wait for Him
… to those who diligently seek Him
… to those who trust Him. -Lam 3:25

Cast all your anxiety on Him, release the weight of it.
He will sustain you BECAUSE He cares for you. -1Pe 5:7; Ps 55:22
