1John 1:5-10 … This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.

Hold To God’s Unchanging Hand

June 25, 2015

Going through a sudden and difficult transition?
The Lord encouraged me with the following song and scriptures.

Time is filled with swift transition,
Naught of earth unmoved can stand,
Build your hopes on things eternal,
Hold to God’s unchanging hand.

Trust in the Lord Jesus completely
Allow Him to guide and sustain you
Lean not on your own understanding
Hold to His unchanging hand.

Even when things look uncertain
Know He is forever faithful
In all your ways acknowledge Him and be
Upheld by His unchanging hand!

Remember
– God’s hand IS there  –
Even if you can’t see it right now.

.

Proverbs 3:5-6 AMP
5 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
6 In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Isaiah 41:10-13 AMP
10 Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. …

13 For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you!

Psalm 32:8 AMP
8 I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.

God’s Good Hand

April 12, 2014

Ezra 8:22 AMP
22 For I was ashamed to request of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to protect us against the enemy along the way, because we had told the king: the hand of our God is upon all them for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him.

2 Chronicles 15:2 AMP
2 … The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him [inquiring for and of Him, craving Him as your soul’s first necessity], He will be found by you; but if you [become indifferent and] forsake Him, He will forsake you.

.

Quotes:
… and now all this being said to the king, after this, to desire a guard to protect them, it would look as if they had not that favour in the sight of God, and did not believe what they had said, but distrusted his power and providence towards them; therefore, rather than reflect any dishonour on God, they chose to expose themselves to danger, seeking his face and favour, and relying on his goodness and power. -Gill

It is a most blessed thing to have no props and no buttresses, but to stand upright on the Rock of Ages, upheld by the Lord alone. -Spurgeon

Those who seek God, are safe under the shadow of his wings, even in their greatest dangers; but those who forsake him, are always exposed. -Matthew Henry

– God’s hand IS there upholding you –
Even if you can’t see it right now.

I Have Seen – the Healing Hand of God!

May 17, 2010

Healing Hand of God by Jeremy Camp

I have seen the many faces, I fear in the pain.
I have watched the tears fall plenty,
From heart ache and strength.
So if life’s journey, has you weary and afraid.
There’s rest in the shadow of his wings.

I have walked through the valleys,
The mountains and plains.
I have held the hand of freedom,
It washes all my stains.
If you feel the weight of many trials,
And burdens from this world.
There’s freedom in the shelter of the Lord.

I have touched the scars upon His hands,
To see if they were real.
He has walked the road before me,
He knows just how I feel.
When you feel there is not anyone,
Who understands your pain,
Just remember all of Jesus’ suffering.

🙂
I have seen, the healing hand of God,
Reaching out and mending broken hearts.
Taste and see the fullness of His peace,
And hold on to what’s being held out.
The healing hand of God.

Cast all your cares on Him,
For He cares for you.
He’s near to the broken and confused.
By His stripes,
Our spirit is renewed.
So enter in the joy prepared for you.

Hold on to what’s being held out
The healing hand of God

Praise the LORD! His healing hand has reached out to my brother Bob! Thank You LORD Jesus!!!! ………. We have seen the healing hand of God! Hallelu Yah!!

Ps 136:1 O GIVE thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.

My brother’s testimony!

Robert Maier wrote:
The Lord knows all, sees all, and loves all.
If so, why doe’s he let bad things happen?
Maybe we need to be put back on the path.
Or we need to learn a lesson or 2 for his
greater glory, or to bring us closer to Him.
He has given me a 2nd chance, and I praise the name of the Lord!
So take a look at what happened to me, my past, and on the 11th. I am better for it. My body is being healed, medications I have taken since 1980, I don’t need anymore. He sees what is happening in your life 2. Why should He not do the same for U? 😉 Blessed be the name of the Lord! I love u Karen, and all of you there.

Even in the Darkness, His Hand Holds

March 20, 2009

Psalm 88:1-2,6    O LORD, the God who saves me, day and night I cry out before you. May my prayer come before you; turn your ear to my cry.

If ever there was a song of sorrow and a Psalm of sadness, Psalm 88 is one. Psalm 88 is a desperate cry to the Lord from a very dark lonely place. It’s overriding theme is one of being lost in impenetrable thick darkness; a darkness which envelopes and gradually draws the life out of the one engulfed by it.

Psalm 88 mentions darkness three times, stressing the seeming distance of God, the feeling of being beyond the care or reach of the Lord. Also missing from Psalm 88 is any declaration of the Lord’s steadfast love.

Psalm 88:6    You have put me in the lowest pit, in the darkest depths.

Psalm 88:10-12   Do You show Your wonders to the dead? Do those who are dead rise up and praise you?   Selah
Is Your love declared in the grave, Your faithfulness in Destruction?
Are Your wonders known in the place of darkness, or your righteous deeds in the land of oblivion?

Psalm 88:16-18   Your wrath has swept over me; Your terrors have destroyed me. All day long they surround me like a flood; they have completely engulfed me. You have taken my companions and loved ones from me; the darkness is my closest friend.

Psalm 139:11-12 seems to be an answer to this desperate impenetrable darkness. So if you find yourself in a place where darkness seems to be your closest friend, remember to declare the Lord’s steadfast love and faithfulness. There is no place so dark or so far where the Lord’s hand cannot reach or that His all seeing eye cannot find.

Psalm 139:9-12    If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast.

If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,”   …   even the darkness will not be dark to You; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to You.

Psalm 18:28   You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.

***

If I fear that the thick darkness will over take and engulf me
Or that all light will be swallowed by the dead of night

Dear Lord help me to remember
the darkness will not be dark to You
and that the night will shine like the day
for darkness is as light to You.

Lord help me to remember , there is NO place
that Your hand cannot reach
or Your all seeing eye cannot find.

Your right hand will hold me fast!
