Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you].

Philippians 1:6 AMP
And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

God Never Fails

January 24, 2015

Hebrews 13:5 AMP
… He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

God didn’t bring you this far to fail
He will never leave or forsake you
Trust in the Lord
He never fails to finish what He begins.

Trust His perfect timing
It may be rocky now
But wait on the Lord
And take heart
He will make a way!

Philippians 1:6 NASB
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it{bring it to completion} until the day of Christ Jesus.

Psalm 27:13-14 NASB
I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. 14 Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD.

Thank You Lord Jesus – You make a way where there seems to be no way and You never fail! Thank You that You will finish what You start. Help us wait on You and follow Your lead in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Let My Peace Carry You

June 10, 2014

Isaiah 48:17-18 NIV …This is what the LORD says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. 18 If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Peace like a river flows when you follow His lead.

Be Still and know
The Lord is good
He has prepared the way
And He is faithful to finish what He starts!

Be still and know
Let His peace like a river carry you through.

God Isn’t Finished Yet!

November 6, 2011

I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. -Phil 1:6

Be patient. Remember how far you’ve come, not just how far you have to go. You may not be where you want to be, but neither are you where you used to be. God has the final say and He is faithful to finish what He starts!

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord, no matter what happens. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that He has promised. For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. -Heb 10:36-37 NLT

Revived in the Eye of the Storm

July 19, 2009

Psalm 138:7-8 AMP   Though I walk in the midst{center} of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, endure forever–forsake not the works of Your own hands.

It’s in the midst, the very center of trouble that we are revived by the Lord’s hand. The very center of trouble is where He revives us, not the place He fails us. It’s in this place of delay, waiting for His deliverance that we are perfected.

Take heart if you’re in this place today; it’s in this seemingly hopeless place, this place of delay that His mighty hand is stretched forth to save.

The Lord is perfecting all that concerns you. He will bring it to full completion. Wait for Him!

He will revive you in the very center of trouble. He will carry you thru, thru to His peace in the eye of the storm. Just keep your eyes on His face.

What a blessing is that stillness, that calm in the eye of the storm.

Psalm 57:2 AMP   I will cry to God Most High, Who performs on my behalf and rewards me [Who brings to pass His purposes for me and surely completes them]!

Philippians 1:6 AMP   And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

Psalm 107:25-30 He spoke and raised up a stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea. They rose up to the heavens, they went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away. They reeled and staggered like drunken men; they were at their wits’ end. They cried out to the Lord in their distress; He delivered them from their troubles. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. What a blessing was that stillness as He brought them safely into harbor!

THE EYE OF THE STORM

“Fear not that the whirlwind shall carry thee hence,
Nor wait for its onslaught in breathless suspense,
Nor shrink from the whips of the terrible hail,
But pass through the edge to the heart of the gale,
For there is a shelter, sunlighted and warm,
And Faith sees her God through the eye of the storm.
“The passionate tempest with rush and wild roar
And threatenings of evil may beat on the shore,
The waves may be mountains, the fields battle plains,
And the earth be immersed in a deluge of rains,
Yet, the soul, stayed on God, may sing bravely its psalm,
For the heart of the storm is the center of calm.
“Let hope be not quenched in the blackness of night,
Though the cyclone awhile may have blotted the light,
For behind the great darkness the stars ever shine,
And the light of God’s heavens, His love shall make thine,
Let no gloom dim thine eyes, but uplif t them on high
To the face of thy God and the blue of His sky.
“The storm is thy shelter from danger and sin,
And God Himself takes thee for safety within;
The tempest with Him passeth into deep calm,
And the roar of the winds is the sound of a psalm.
Be glad and serene when the tempest clouds form;
God smiles on His child in the eye of the Storm”.
