Fresh Oil

July 25, 2012

Psalm 1:3 AMP … And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].

Ezekiel 47:12 AMP … And on the banks of the river on both its sides, there shall grow all kinds of trees for food; their leaf shall not fade nor shall their fruit fail [to meet the demand]. Each tree shall bring forth new fruit every month, [these supernatural qualities being] because their waters came from out of the sanctuary. And their fruit shall be for food and their leaves for healing.

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as the earth brings forth its bud, As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, So the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. -Isa 61:10-11

I Am Helped

January 29, 2010

Psalm 13:1-3 AMP
1HOW LONG will You forget me, O Lord? Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?

2How long must I lay up cares within me and have sorrow in my heart day after day? How long shall my enemy exalt himself over me?

3Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; lighten the eyes [of my faith to behold Your face in the pitchlike darkness], lest I sleep the sleep of death …

A heart heavy with sorrow
Overwhelmed
In pitchlike darkness I drop to my knees …

Before His throne I’m bowed at His feet -Heb 4:16
O God, You are my God! -Ps 63:1;Ps 118:28
In Thee I confidently trust! -Ps 91:2
There’s an incense so sweet
My grateful heart sings
I lift up my eyes and see
My Savior! Lord Jesus!
My strength, my song, my shield!

Exodus 15:2
The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

Psalm 28:7
The LORD is my strength and my [impenetrable]shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart leaps for joy, and with my song I thank Him.

Grateful Hearts
Karen Holland … 9-2006

Hearts touched, softened by pain
The sufferings of Christ flow
Weakened hearts rely on His strength
Hearts softened, draw near the throne
The comfort of Christ overflows
Boldly hearts find His mercy and grace
His comfort deeper than any pain
Hearts softened, touched
Hearts perfected by the author the finisher of their faith
Hearts lifted in praise
Hearts lifted from the depths to the heights
Grateful hearts
Thankful, lifted in praise.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

2 Corinthians 12:9
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

Hebrews 4:16
Let us then come boldly to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Green Leaves Drip Fatness

It is good to give thanks to the LORD and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;  –Ps 92:1

Sing, sing praises to the Lord, enthroned in Zion –Ps 9:11
Draw near to the Lord.

How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You to dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple. –Ps 65:4

You have crowned the year with Your bounty, and Your paths drip with fatness. –Ps 65:11

Be anointed with fresh oil — TODAY
Firmly planted in the house of the Lord
By streams of living water –Ps 1:3
Green leaves drip fatness
The oil of joy causing righteousness and praise
To spring up before all the nations. –Isa 61:11

Green leaves drip fatness
Healing leaves, full of sap and very green
… for the healing of the nations. –Rev 22:2
Captives set free, yokes destroyed because of the fatness. -Isa 10:27

Green leaves dripping fatness
Green leaves dripping healing

Psalm 92:10, 12-15    But You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.

The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the LORD, They will flourish in the courts of our God.  They will still yield fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and very green, To declare that the LORD is upright;
… He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
