From: Peace, Like a River, Flows…
Rivers seem peaceful to people because they know for sure they’re going to get where they are going
—> and they don’t want to go anywhere else. —Howell Bale
The Lord used the above to really encouraged me!
It’s as if He said to me ‘Trust Me’
Be still and let My peace flow like a river.
I know where you are going
I have prepared it
I am faithful to finish what I have begun
Let My peace carry you.
Trust Me – rest
I have prepared your way.
Isaiah 48:17-18 … This is what the LORD says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. 18If only you had paid attention to My commands, your peace would have been like a river, your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
Romans 16:19-20 … Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil. 20The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

The above made me think of the dove.
Matthew 10:16 … Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.
From: http://bible.cc/matthew/10-16.htm
10:16 As sheep in the midst of wolves. Defenseless by human means, among the fierce and cruel; among bitter enemies.
Wise as serpents. Prudent, discreet. Serpents are very cautious in avoiding danger.
Harmless as doves. Guileless and innocent as doves. The dove, peaceful, never preying on other birds, has always been a symbol of innocence.
1 Corinthians 14:20 … Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults{mature understanding}.
The peaceful dove, carrying an olive leaf …
Genesis 8:8-12 … Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground. 9But the dove could find no place to set its feet because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark. 10He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark. 11When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah[05146] knew that the water had receded from the earth. 12Then he waited yet another seven days, and sent out the dove; but she did not return to him again.
Noah[05146] means ‘rest’. From [05118] which means resting place.

The Lord’s dove always finds rest in Him
In the ark of His presence, carried upon the river of His peace
… until the waters recede
… and everything is made new! -Rev 21:1-5
Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest!
Psalm 55:6
Grace and peace to you from God our Father
And the Lord Jesus Christ!

Yesterday at church this song really spoke to me!
I Hear the Words of Love
Lyrics by Horatius Bonar, 1861
From: worshipmatters.com
I hear the words of love, I gaze upon the blood,
I see the mighty sacrifice and I have peace with God.
‘Tis everlasting peace! Sure as Jehovah’s Name;
‘Tis stable as His steadfast throne, for evermore the same.
The clouds may come and go, and storms may sweep my sky,
This blood sealed friendship changes not: The cross is ever nigh.
My love is oft times low, my joy still ebbs and flows;
But peace with Him remains the same, no change Jehovah knows.
I change, He changes not, The Christ can never die;
His love, not mine, the resting place, His truth, not mine, the tie.
