Streams of Tears

August 8, 2016

Psalm 119:136 AMPC … Streams of water run down my eyes, because men do not keep Your law [they hear it not, nor receive it, love it, or obey it].

When it feels as if the darkness will overwhelm
Remember it’s then that the Lord’s glory shines –
Is 60:2
Those who fear the Lord, who keep and love His word
Have been given a banner of truth –Ps 60:4
Raise it high against the crushing darkness of night
That those who love the Lord may be delivered –Ps 60:5
The light shines on in the darkness
AND the darkness can NEVER extinguish it!Jn 1:5

.

The way out is to trust God for the way to make it through!

Proverbs 3:5-8 NASB … Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil. 8 It will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones.

Streams of Precious Tears

February 16, 2016

Psalm 119:147-152 AMPC … I anticipated the dawning of the morning and cried [in childlike prayer]; I hoped in Your word.
148 My eyes anticipate the night watches and I am awake before the cry of the watchman, that I may meditate on Your word.
149 Hear my voice according to Your steadfast love; O Lord, quicken me and give me life according to Your [righteous] decrees.
150 They draw near who follow after wrong thinking and persecute me with wickedness; they are far from Your law.
151 You are near, O Lord [nearer to me than my foes], and all Your commandments are truth.
152 Of old have I known Your testimonies, and for a long time, [therefore it is a thoroughly established conviction] that You have founded them forever.

Psalm 119:136 AMPC … Streams of water run down my eyes, because men do not keep Your law [they hear it not, nor receive it, love it, or obey it].

Beloved I have heard your prayer
I see your tears
2Ki 20:5
Each of your tears is a precious gem.

Trust in Me, the Lord Jesus Christ
To wipe away your tears and make it thru the night!

God Can Be Trusted

April 16, 2014

Psalm 56:3-4 NKJV … Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?

Psalm 56:3-4 BBE … In the time of my fear, I will have faith in You. In God will I give praise to His word; in God have I put my hope; I will have no fear of what flesh may do to me.

Fear can be powerful, but we don’t have to let fear rule. Fear can be over ruled by trusting in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Like the above psalm, we can declare, “Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You, Lord!”

God can be trusted! The is no limit to His understanding and wisdom(Isaiah 40:28). Trust in the Lord, for His perfect love casts out fear(1 John 4:18).

Psalm 147:5 AMP
Great is our Lord and of great power; His understanding is inexhaustible and boundless!

Trust in the Lord
Soar on wings like eagles!
-Isa 40:31

Commit Your Way to the Lord

June 22, 2013

Psalm 37:5 AMP … Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.

Proverbs 16:3 AMP … Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.

Commit your way to the Lord

Commit everything you do to the LORD -Ps37:5 NLT
Commit your future to the LORD -Ps37:5 NET
Commit your works -Pr16:3 NASB

Commit your actions to the LORD -Ps16:3 NLT

From Commentary Ps 37:5The meaning of “Commit your way to the Lord” is, “Cast thyself and thy life unreservedly upon God – yield thyself wholly to Him – look to Him for support and guidance.”

Roll the whole burden of life upon the Lord. “Roll” emphasizes letting go and entrusting the Lord. Commit THEN trust!

Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident)  in Him

From Commentary Ps 37:5Our destiny shall be joyfully accomplished if we confidently commit/entrust all to our Lord.

Trust in Him – literally “on Him” and He will do what you can not.

Your thoughts will become agreeable to His will

He will bring it to pass; Your plans will succeed.

From Commentary Pro 16:3As a child opens its heart to a tender parent, so do thou show to God thy desires and intentions, trusting to His care and providence. And thy thoughts shall be established. The plans and deliberations out of which the “works” sprang shall meet with a happy fulfilment, because they are undertaken according to the will of God, and directed to the end by His guidance

Commit your way, your all to the  Lord and wait for His strength and guidance. Sometimes He may take us on a different path than expected to accomplish His will.

Lord Jesus help me to come to You as Your trusting child and commit whatever I do, to You each day. Let me wait for and follow Your direction. Thank You that as I do my part, You will do what I can not and Your plans will succeed!

Proverbs 3:5-6 … Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Your Love Never Fails!

April 28, 2012

The LORD’s loyal, steadfast love never ceases; For His compassions never fail. -Lam 3:22

The wind is strong and the water’s deep
The oceans rage
But I don’t have to be afraid
Because I know that You love me
And I’m not alone here in these open seas
Because Your love never fails!

The chasm is far too wide
I never thought I’d reach the other side
But Your love never fails!

Praise You Lord Jesus, You make all things work together for my good! Your love never fails!

Psalm 91:14 AMP … Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver{rescue} him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness–trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].

Psalm 9:10 AMP … And they who know Your name [who have experience and acquaintance with Your mercy] will lean on and confidently put their trust in You, for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek (inquire of and for) You [on the authority of God’s Word and the right of their necessity].

Lord Jesus, I trust in Your loyal, steadfast, unfailing, love; In Your faithfulness. My heart rejoices in Your salvation, deliverance, and victory!. -Ps 13:5

Lord Jesus, may we each have personal knowledge of Your unfailing love and KNOW that You will NEVER forsake those who love and seek You. As we trust You let our hearts rejoice in Your salvation, deliverance, and victory!

Expectantly Look

November 18, 2011

When you don’t know what to do
Wait while I open the door for you to go thru
Trust Me ……………………………..-Prov 3:5
Expectantly look to Me …………..-Ps 123:2
I will direct your steps …………..-Prov 3:6
You will go forward with joy
And be led forth with peace! …..-Isa 55:11-12

Have you ever been in a situation where circumstances were pressing in on you to act? Pressing circumstances make you want to flee. This is where I was recently; the Lord encouraged me with the above words. In response I started praying and singing to the Lord.

I will wait for You Lord
I will wait on You
I will wait for You Lord
Expectantly wait for You …

My singing was interrupted by a voice saying “Is that you Karen?”. I was stunned and looked to see who was speaking. How could this woman hear me, I was singing so softly? I went over to her and we started talking. She did not hear my song. As we spoke we talked of the Lord. All of a sudden she said “Trust the Lord!”. I knew this was the Lord speaking to me. He knew I was having a had time waiting for Him to make a way for me where there was no way. I also knew it was from the verse the Lord often uses to encourage me when I’m unsure of which way to go.

Proverbs 3:5-6 AMP … Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

I shared this with the woman. We were both filled with joy! The woman was glad to know the Lord used her to encourage me. And my heart was lifted knowing that the Lord heard me and was near me; He was helping me!

Psalm 28:7 AMP … The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him.

After this my heart greatly rejoiced and I praised the Lord with my song even more. My circumstances are not yet changed but the Lord is helping me to wait and  expectantly look for His hand to open the door before me.
