Sun of Righteousness Rise!

.
Malachi 4:2 AMP … But for you who fear My name [with awe-filled reverence] the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go forward and leap [joyfully] like calves [released] from the stall.
.
2Peter 1:19 AMP …So we have the prophetic word made more certain. You do well to pay [close] attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and light breaks through the gloom and the morning star arises in your hearts.

2Corinthians 4:6 AMP … For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give us the Light of the knowledge of the glory and majesty of God [clearly revealed] in the face of Christ.
.

A Song:
Let the Sun(Son) of Righteousness rise
In your heart
It’s a new day
Shining brighter and brighter ’til the full day –Pro 4:18,20-23
It’s a new day(2x)
.
Let the Sun(Son) of Righteousness rise
In your heart
There is healing in His wings
Be covered ‘neath His wings
It’s a new day
Joy comes in the morning –Psa 30:4-5
It’s a new day(2x)
.
2Peter 1:5-9 AMP … For this very reason, applying your diligence [to the divine promises, make every effort] in [exercising] your faith to, develop moral excellence, and in moral excellence, knowledge (insight, understanding), 6 and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, steadfastness, and in your steadfastness, godliness, 7 and in your godliness, brotherly affection, and in your brotherly affection, [develop Christian] love [that is, learn to unselfishly seek the best for others and to do things for their benefit]. 8 For as these qualities are yours and are increasing [in you as you grow toward spiritual maturity], they will keep you from being useless and unproductive{unfruitful} in regard to the true knowledge and greater understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For whoever lacks these qualities is blind—shortsighted [closing his spiritual eyes to the truth], having become oblivious to the fact that he was cleansed from his old sins.

From NetBible Mal 4:2
But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall.

* Here the Hebrew word צְדָקָה (tsÿdaqah), usually translated “righteousness” (so KJV, NIV, NRSV, NLT; cf. NAB “justice”), has been rendered as “vindication” because it is the vindication of God’s people that is in view in the context.

* The expression the sun of vindication will rise is a metaphorical way of describing the day of the Lord as a time of restoration when God vindicates his people (see 2 Sam 23:4; Isa 30:26; 60:1, 3). Their vindication and restoration will be as obvious and undeniable as the bright light of the rising sun.

wings[03671]kanaph = wing, extremity, edge, winged, border, corner of garment
=>Ruth 2:12  … … May the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings [03671] you have come to take refuge, reward you fully
=>Ruth 3:9 … “Who are you?” he asked. “I am your servant Ruth,” she said. “Spread the corner of your garment [03671] over me, since you are a kinsman-redeemer.”

From Biblehub Proverbs 4:18 AMP
But the path of the just (righteous) is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day.

*The just have the Lord for their light (Psalm 27:1), on them the “Sun of righteousness” has arisen (Malachi 4:2). as “the light of the morning, even a morning without clouds” (2Samuel 23:4), and this light, that is, their knowledge of God, will become clearer and clearer till the “perfect day,” when they shall see Him as He is (1John 3:2). • What is the morning star in astronomy?
Jesusplusnothing: In astronomy the term “morning star” is most commonly used as a reference to the planet Venus as it rises in the east. So before dawn, before the sun rises, first there is the rising of what we call ‘the morning star’. It is a pointer to the new day that is about to unfold. Outside of the sun and the moon, Venus is the brightest object in the night sky.
      * In the natural it is a pointer to the dawn of a new day. In the spiritual it also speaks of the sure and confident hope that we have of the dawn of a coming new day.
    • What is Jesus claiming here: I am the Bright and Morning Star?
*Commentary 2: The word “star” (Greek #792) means star and is used 24 times in the New Testament. It is used 4 times at Jesus’ birth (Mt 2:2, 7, 9, 10). Just as Jesus’ arrival on earth (incarnation) as a baby was proclaimed by the star; even so, the bright morning star heralds the dawn of a new day.
      * Peter speaks of “a light that shineth in a dark place, until day dawns, and the day star arise in your hearts” (2Pe 1:19; 2Cor 4:5-7; Prov 4:18). Jesus Christ is the Light of the world and the day star that shines in our hearts as believers. He is the “morning star” given to overcoming believers in the churches (Revelation 2:28). The second coming of Jesus Christ precedes the 1000- year millennial reign of Jesus Christ followed by the new heavens and a new earth eternally with Jesus Christ. And He that testifies these things says: Surely, I come quickly, AMEN! Even so, come Lord Jesus (Revelation 22:20)!

The word for “day-star” (φωσφόροv, lucifer, light-bringer) is found in no other place of the New Testament; but comp. Revelation 2:28Revelation 22:16. St. Peter seems to mean that the prophetic word, rendered more sure to the apostles by the voice from heaven, and to Christians generally by apostolic witness, shines like a guiding lamp, till the fuller light of day dawns upon the soul, as the believer, led by the prophetic word, realizes the personal knowledge of the Lord, and he manifests himself according to his blessed promises to the heart that longs for his sacred presence. He is the Bright and Morning Star, the Day-star, the Light-bringer; for he is the Light of the world – he brings the light, the full light of day. The prophetic word is precious; it sheds light upon the surrounding darkness – the darkness of ignorance, the darkness of the heart that knows not Christ; but its light is as the light of a torch or a lamp, compared with the pervading daylight which the felt presence of Christ sheds into those hearts into which God hath shined to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (comp. 1 Peter 2:9Luke 1:78).

Ephesians 4:17-24 AMP … So this I say, and solemnly affirm together with the Lord [as in His presence], that you must no longer live as the [unbelieving] Gentiles live, in the futility of their minds [and in the foolishness and emptiness of their souls], 18 for their [moral] understanding is darkened and their reasoning is clouded; [they are] alienated and self-banished from the life of God [with no share in it; this is] because of the [willful] ignorance and spiritual blindness that is [deep-seated] within them, because of the hardness and insensitivity of their heart. 19 And they, [the ungodly in their spiritual apathy], having become callous and unfeeling, have given themselves over [as prey] to unbridled sensuality, eagerly craving the practice of every kind of impurity [that their desires may demand]. 20 But you did not learn Christ in this way! 21 If in fact you have [really] heard Him and have been taught by Him, just as truth is in Jesus [revealed in His life and personified in Him], 22 that, regarding your previous way of life, you put off your old self [completely discard your former nature], which is being corrupted through deceitful desires, 23 and be continually renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh, untarnished mental and spiritual attitude], 24 and put on the new self [the regenerated and renewed nature], created in God’s image, [godlike] in the righteousness and holiness of the truth [living in a way that expresses to God your gratitude for your salvation].
