Joel 3:16 AMP … The Lord thunders and roars from Zion and utters His voice from Jerusalem [in judgment of His enemies], and the heavens and the earth tremble and shudder; But the Lord is a refuge for His people and a stronghold [of protection] to the children of Israel.

The Lord’s roar shows protection and strength to His people, but to His enemies it is a battle cry. His children run to Him for safety and protection while His enemies flee in terror!

It’s comforting to remember when feeling attacked by the enemy that the Lion of Judah roars louder. His roar is greater and makes the enemy flee. The Lord the mighty warrior-king(Ps 29:3) is your refuge and strength – run to Him and be kept safe(Pro 18:10)!

The garden enclosed from the above scripture is a picture of the secret place within the heart of the “bride”. It’s amazing and beautiful that it’s also a picture of the bride being Pregnant with the Word or apples of gold!

Apples of gold are breathed by the Holy Spirit. They contain the fragrance of Christ, bringing life[02421] . These apples “breathe” – refresh, quicken, revive and restore from sickness, discouragement, faintness, and/or death. They bring life and joy. Isn’t it interesting that the “place of apples”, the place where these apples are “breathed” is in Judah, assigned to the tribe of Judah = praise/He is to be praised?!

The Lord reminded me of this process today: Let the Lord quicken a verse to you and then look at the different versions to see what He puts on your heart=> see the prayer and praise that He brings forth! He showed my bible study group in the past that this is a way to “meditate” and keep scripture in your heart for the Holy Spirit to bring back to your mind when you need it!
