From ODB – Look Up “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God” (Ps 42:11). That’s good advice for anyone who is facing discouragement. . Lift up your eyes, discouraged one, The Lord your help will be; New strength will come from Him who said, “For rest, come unto Me.” —Anon. . When you can’t find a way out, look up!

Tell her to help me and do her part.” 41 But the Lord replied to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered and anxious about so many things; 42 but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good{better} part [that which is to her advantage], which will not be taken away from her.”

Has anyone ever made statements like this to you?

• I am serving all “alone”; you are only listening at Jesus feet
  => you are not helping!
• You seem only to be worshipping, praying and listening for the Lord’s words => Why aren’t you “busy” serving?

Another interesting thing was pointed out to me recently
=>Martha did welcome Jesus into her home, but was too “busy” serving to ask Jesus what He wanted her to do. She actually interrupts Jesus to tell Him what to do!
