Who Will See the King in His Beauty?

Who will see the King in His beauty?

He who walks righteously and speaks with sincerity,
… He who rejects unjust gain
… And shakes his hands so that they hold no bribe;
… He who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed
… And shuts his eyes from looking upon evil;
He will dwell on the heights,
… His refuge will be the impregnable rock;
… His bread will be given him,
… His water will be sure.
Your eyes will see the King in His beauty;
… They will behold a far-distant land. -Isa 33:15-17

The upright, those who fear the Lord, will see the King; The light of His face; The smile of His countenance.

He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure. -Isa 33:6

The LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness; The upright will behold His face. -Ps 11:7

In the light of a king’s face{countenance } is life, And his favor is like a cloud with the spring rain. -Prov 16:15

When the king smiles, there is life; His favor refreshes like a gentle rain. -Prov 16:15 NLT

The upright drink in His rain and rejoice/shine before His throne.

Light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart. -Ps 97:11

They waited for me as for showers and drank in my words as the spring rain. -Job 29:23 NIV

They waited for me as for the rain, and opened their mouth as for the spring rain. -Job 29:23 NASB

The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.” Then the temple of the LORD was filled with a cloud. -2 Chron 5:13

… for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. -1 Cor 10:4

Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness

Splendor and majesty are before Him, strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. Ascribe to the LORD, O families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Give to the LORD the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come into His courts. Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness{holy attire, glory of the King}! Fear{tremble, kneel} before Him, all the earth. -Ps 96:6-9

Drink in His presence
Drink from His glory cloud
Drink in His rain
Drink in His word

See the King’s favor
See the King’s smile
See the King in His beauty

But there{Zion} the majestic One, the LORD, will be for us
… A place of rivers and wide canals
… On which no boat with oars will go,
… And on which no mighty ship will pass– -Isa 33:21

Those who look to and wait on the King, will be radiant with joy
Their faces will shine with the light of His countenance
A beautiful shining procession of stars
His city on His hill will not be hidden!

Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces! -Ps 34:5 NLT

They that sing as well as they that dance shall say, All my fountains are in thee{city of God}. -Ps 87:7

Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert. … And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away. -Isa 35:6,10

Drink in His reign.
