June 9, 2012

I AM the Light of the world
I AM the Resurrection and the Life
Whoever follows
(believes in, adheres to, trusts in, and relies on) Me
Will have the Light of life.

“Did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe and rely on Me, you would see the glory of God?” -Jn 11:40 AMP

.

John 1:4 AMP … In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.

John 8:12 NASB … Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

John 11:25-26 AMP … Jesus said to her, I am [Myself] the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on) Me, although he may die, yet he shall live; And whoever continues to live and believes in (has faith in, cleaves to, and relies on) Me shall never [actually] die at all. Do you believe this?

God of All Comfort

November 21, 2009

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.
