Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Dare to Soar
Karen Holland … 10-9-06
Place your hope in the Lord
Wait on Him
Dare to soar
On the wings of praise
By the breath of His Spirit
Be lifted higher
Place your hope in the Lord
On the wings of praise dare to soar
Lion of Judah roar!
Karen Holland … 10-10-06
Place all your hope in the Lord
Trust Him completely
Spread your wings in anticipation of the wind
Willingly let go of the ground
By the breath of His Spirit
Be lifted higher
Soar …
Or how far you can see
Unless you anticipate His wind and spread you wings
Place all your hope in the Lord
Lion of Judah roar!
No, we speak of God’s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began [to lift us into the glory of His presence]. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written:
”No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him”—
See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.
