Revelation 19:4-9 The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried: “Amen, Hallelujah!”
Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!”
Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:
“Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.”
“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”
And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.
Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”
Revelation 21:9-11 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, “Come hither, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
Come up hither!
See the bride, the Lamb’s wife
The holy city set on a hill -Mt 5:14-16
A great and high mountain
On the mount of the Lord it shall be seen{provided}! -Gen 22:14
The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. -Rev 21:23
Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. -Dan 12:3
The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. -Prov 4:18
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. -2 Cor 4:6
Beloved
I AM making you a strong mountain
My city set on My holy hill
A light shining bright for all to see
I AM building up Zion -Ps 102:16
My glory revealed in your midst
The glory of God in the face of Christ. -2 Cor 3:18
I have loved you with an everlasting love;
… I have drawn you with loving-kindness. –Jer 31:3
May He kiss me with the kisses of His mouth! For your love is better than wine. Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes; your name is like perfume poured out. Therefore the virgins love you. Draw me away! Let us run together! Let the king bring me into his chambers. We rejoice and delight in you; we will praise your love more than wine. How right they are to adore you! –Song 1:2-4
Draw me, draw me away Lord Up into Your holy hill, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High That I may adore You Oh to taste Your love and behold Your face! One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD. -Ps 27:4-6 |
