Strong in Christ’s Grace

August 8, 2023

2Timothy 2:1 AMPC … Be strong (strengthened inwardly) in the grace (spiritual blessing) that is [to be found only] in Christ Jesus.
.
2Timothy 2:1 AMP … So you, my son, be strong [constantly strengthened] and empowered in the grace that is [to be found only] in Christ Jesus.
.
2Corinthians 12:9-10 …  And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
.
Rest in Christ – don’t fear
Be of good cheer
In weakness His strength shines clear
Be strong in His grace
Blessed with perfect peace.
2Cor 12:9-10;2Tim 2:1;Phil 4:12-13;Jn 16:33;Is 26:3-4
.
Philippians 4:12-13 I have experienced times of need and times of abundance. In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of contentment, whether I go satisfied or hungry, have plenty or nothing. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
.
John 16:33I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but be of good cheer{take courage}; I have overcome the world.
.
Isaiah 26:3-4You will keep in perfect peace those whose mind is steadfast{fixed on You}, because they trust in You. 4 Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is
… an enduring protector
… the Rock Eternal
… an everlasting Rock
… an unchanging Rock
… everlasting strength!

Make Peace Your Aim!

.
Psalm 34:14-15 AMPC … Depart from evil and do good; seek, inquire for, and crave peace and pursue (go after) it! 15 The eyes of the Lord are toward the [uncompromisingly] righteous and His ears are open to their cry.

The everlasting Rock of Ages.

.
Isaiah 26:3-4 AMPC … You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.

Safe Harbor Blessing

July 17, 2014

Psalm 107:25-31 NLT    He spoke and raised up a stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea. They rose up to the heavens, they went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away. They reeled and staggered like drunken men; they were at their wits’ end. They cried out to the Lord in their distress; He delivered them from their troubles. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. What a blessing was that stillness as he brought them safely into harbor! Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men!

Mark 4:39  NKJV   Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

Isaiah 26:3-4 AMP
3 You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.
4 So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].

What a blessing is the stillness –
The great calm
The perfect peace of the Lord.

A peace we can have amid any storm!

Trust in the Lord
Commit yourself whole heartedly to Him
Lean on Him and
He will carry You in perfect peace thru any storm
To His safe harbor
A place found only in His blessed care.

Safe Harbor

February 13, 2011

Psalm 107:25-30 He spoke and raised up a stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea.

When storms rage and strength and courage seem to melt away
Remember the One and Only who the wind and waves obey

He speaks! “Peace! Be Still!”Mk 4:39

A beacon of truth showing the way Jn 8:12
Rock of peace – Rock of refuge
A safe harbor to which you may continually come.

Psalm 71:3 Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; the strong place of my salvation; for You are my Rock, and my fortress(safe place).

Isaiah 26:3-4 You will keep in perfect peace, him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.

Proverbs 29:25 NIV Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.

Proverbs 29:25 BBE The fear of man is a cause of danger: but whoever puts his faith in the Lord will have a safe place on high.

Proverbs 29:25 NLT Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but to trust the LORD means safety.

Trust in the Lord means you’ll be kept in perfect peace while being led to a safe place – safe harbor. What a blessing!

Lord, thank that You can calm any storm, both those around us and those within. Thank You that as we trust You we’ll be kept in perfect peace and led to a safe place; a safe harbor in You.

The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Saviour! -Ps 18:46

Be Lifted Higher

August 22, 2009

O My dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the cliff,
Let me see your face, let me hear your voice;
For your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely. -Song 2:14

My Dove come
I AM calling you higher, deep into My secret place
Put on the garment of praise
Lift up your eyes to the King
Come away and worship at My feet
Be anointed with the oil of joy.

My Dove as you lift up your eyes to My face
As you lift up your hands in worship
As you lift up your voice in adoration …

Be lifted up
Set high upon the Rock
Hidden and kept safe beneath My wings
Held in perfect peace as the apple of My eye.

My Dove I long to hear your voice
I long to see your face …
Behold the beauty of the King
Behold!
I AM.

Psalm 27:4-6      One thing I have desired of the LORD,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD,
And to inquire in His temple.
For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.
And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;
Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.

Isaiah 26:3-4   You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
Trust in the LORD forever,  for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength.

Romans 16:20   The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
